IGE+XAO sign their most important contract to date.

After a year of comparative testing and presentations in which the most important manufacturers of Computer Aided Design software in the field of electricity (Electrical CAD) participated, European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) and IGE+XAO have signed an agreement pertaining to the supplying of high end software by the latter, i.e. SEE Electrical Expert (commercialization in March 2002).

This four-year contract, which totals more than 3,5 million Euros, i.e. more than 25% of the Group's 2001 annual sales figure, includes the supplying of more than 400 licences and related services to two AIRBUS (an EADS joint company with BAE Systems ) and EUROCOPTER (an EADS company).

AIRBUS and EUROCOPTER will use SEE Electrical Expert to create the cabling diagrams of their planes and helicopters. IGE+XAO products will therefore be used to design the cabling of the A380, which is, along with the Concorde, the most ambitious project in the history of global civil aviation in the last fifty years.

A true European project, IGE+XAO will supply the German research and manufacturing sites (more than 200 licences), as well as the English sites , French and Spanish sites.

Beyond the financial aspect, this contract will also produce a real partnership thanks to the implementation of a common monitoring cell, which will continuously adapt IGE+XAO's offer to the demands of the aeronautics industry and therefore make it the obvious first choice.

Along with the EADS contract and the DCN deal (" Direction des Constructions Navales ") signed in October 2001 and worth more than one million Euros, IGE+XAO has a clear vision pertaining to the increase in their activities and benefits for the two next years, on one hand, and on the other hand, a confirmation of their competitive advantage as well as the quality of the team they have in place.

These references are in addition to the most prestigious names in the automotive (PSA Peugeot Citroen, Renault, Michelin, Val¨¦o, Delphi, Faurecia…), transportation (SNCF, Air France, Chantiers de l'Atlantique, Bombardier, Alstom¡­), chemical (Solvay, Total Fina Elf, KodaK, Vivendi Environnement), electricity and electronics (Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB, Motorola) and energy industries (EDF, HydroQuebec, Total Fina Elf)¡­, confirm the Group's breakthrough in the field of advanced technology (Thal¨¨s, Cogema, CEA,..) and reinforce their strategy: becoming the industrial standard in the Electrical CAD field.
